Burning Micturition
Painful urination, often described as burning, scalding or stinging and commonly accompanied by pain in the lower part of abdomen.
It is often associated with frequency of micturition and a feeling of incomplete emptying of the bladder.
Causes:
Incomplete bladder emptying due to obstruction in the bladder, or prostate enlargement.

Frequent micturition and urgency
Scalding pain in the urethra during micturition
Pain in the suprapubic region after voiding
Intense desire to pass more urine after micturition, due to spasm of the inflamed bladder
At times microscopic or visible blood in the urine

Chief Remedies:
Cantharis: Burning before and after micturition.
Staphysagria: Burning micturition especially in newly married persons. Burning in urethra when not micturating.
Sarsaparilla: Urine dribbles while sitting with frequent urging. Scanty urination with burning. Can pass urine only while standing.
Apis Mellifica: Urine is scanty, comes only in drops. Much straining before urination. Scalding and stinging pain during urination. Last drop burns and smarts.
