Ottorrhea
The discharge from the ear is called ottorrhea.
It can manifest as a symptom of a disease, such as earache, or it can be a separate phenomonon.
causes
-due to inflammation of the middle ear ( ottitis media), in whichthe discharge is often blood stained, profuse and mucoid at first and later become thick and yellowish.
-due to inflamation of external ear ( ottiis externa), in which the discharge may be scanty.
-other causes like infection from nose, throat may also precipitate it.

Capsicum Annuum: chronic suppuration in ear; perforation of eardrum; thick yellow pus like discharge; itching and burning in ears.
Hepar Sulphuris Cacareum: discharge of fetid pus; smelling like old cheese; better from hot application; worse cold; intense shooting pain in ear.
Mercurius Solubilis: purulent and offensive discharge; pus mixed with blood; pain in ears, worse warmth of bed; boils in external ear canal.
Pulsatilla: profuse, thick, yellow or yellow greenish, inoffensive discharge; better in open air.
